Planning guide
Most teams start with a date and a rough headcount. The ones that run smoothly also decide three other things early: the real goal of the day, the right destination, and how much logistics they want to own themselves.
Is this a quick energy boost after meetings, a chance for a distributed team to finally meet properly, or a longer offsite with strategy work mixed in? The answer changes the format.
Bangkok is practical for large groups and hotel-based programmes. Chiang Mai suits focused work and a more relaxed pace. Phuket and Hua Hin work when you want coast and space.
See the full comparison in our note on Chiang Mai vs Bangkok vs Phuket.
For groups under 50 we usually recommend 2–4 months. Larger groups or peak season (November–February in many places) need more lead time, especially if you want a specific villa or resort.
Share the real context: recent changes in the team, what has and has not worked before, and any constraints (fitness levels, language mix, indoor-only needs). Good facilitation is built around that, not a generic activity list.
Some teams only need the facilitation block. Others want the full package — venue, transfers, dining and the day itself. We offer both through the Thailand team building and Offsite Thailand programmes.
Once those five points are clear, the rest becomes straightforward.
