Remote & distributed teams
When a distributed team finally shares a room, the day is expensive in time and flights. Filling it with forced icebreakers wastes that cost. The useful question is simpler: what do people need once they are actually together?
That is the shape of our half-day and full-day formats: facilitation-led, native English, no mandatory solo spotlight.
Chiang Mai works well when people can fly in for a few days and you want focus without Bangkok intensity. Bangkok is practical if some of the team is already there or flights only land there. Phuket or Hua Hin make sense when the goal is a clear break from the usual environment. Destination trade-offs are covered in Chiang Mai vs Bangkok vs Phuket.
A single full day can be enough if people are only together briefly. If the team is flying in for a wider offsite, fold facilitation into a multi-day retreat rather than treating team building as a bolted-on afternoon. Format length is discussed in half-day vs full-day.
Brief us on how long people have been remote, what has and has not worked in past meetups, and any language mix. The session design follows from that.
